Wendy Iglehart’s, LCPC mission is to provide you with a safe environment to openly talk about issues and give emotional support and guidance. This provides you with a chance to better understand your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. She believes the therapeutic relationship is the catalyst for healing, improving your resiliency, making better choices, and helping to promote conscious living. These are important factors to create effective and meaningful counseling.
Wendy has provided psychotherapy and assessment and collaborative divorce coach serves in varied clinical settings on the east and west coasts and has been a licensed psychotherapist in Maryland since 2003. Her work includes a broad range of experiences such as crisis intervention and developing the Victim Advocacy program for the US Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton to clinical experience in non-profit and private practice settings.
Wendy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seattle University, her Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Towson University and her post-graduate work towards licensure at Towson and Johns Hopkins Universities.
Wendy offers and specializes in adult individual counseling and couple/family counseling. She’s here to facilitate the power held within yourself and enhance the best version of yourself. She also provides clinical supervision to graduate students and licensed therapists. As a former collaborative divorce coach, she helps couples navigate the separation and divorce process with emotional support and offers information about healthy co-parenting, conflict resolution, and identification of strengths and weaknesses.
Wendy enjoys reading mystery novels, watching BBC TV, playing with her dog, singing to the radio in the car, and drinking her AM coffee.
